Some times i think is it possible getting top 10 ranking without link building ? May or May not be.
To check firstly check intitle traffic on google, if it is less than 2000, you may do but it will take time.
Just using following steps
On Site Optimization
- Title tag for each page
- Separate tag for each page
- Choose one keyword for one page
- Internal structuring of keywords with exact page if encounter
- Site map which is very important so that your site crawl by Google frequently
- Submission to Google data centers (80 + data centers are there)
- Unique content and bolding your main keyword
I hope the above tips may be help full for those person who have site with less competition but one thing should be kept in mind your content should be unique, because content are the king
